Obama Picks Clinton for VP!
Not yet at least! So Barack Obama has made up his mind on who his Vice President is going to be but there is a catch. He won’t tell anybody. What is this, grade school? I don’t know about you but I’ve about had enough with all the talk about VP. Who care really? They don’t really play a vital role in the decision making process in the White House. Dick Cheney was unprecedented with his active role in policy making but that was more of a fluke than anything else. That being said I believe he selected Hillary Clinton as his Vice President. This would be a very smart political move on his part. She has wide ranging appeal across the country. She can also attract the demographics he needs in order to win the election. The Hispanic vote and the white-working class vote is where Obama lags behind. With Hillary on the ticket, these voting blocks will vote overwhelming for Barack Obama. The goal of an election is to win right?
Hillary Clinton is Obama’s best bet to win the White House. The name recognition alone will give Obama a tremendous advantage over John McCain. If Obama picks someone the public is not familiar with, say for example Joe Biden, Evan Bayh or Kathleen Sebelius, he going to have a tougher time convincing voters to vote for him. The more politcally conscious voter might know who they are but the general public sure won’t. I for one do not know what these people stand for. Barack Obama already has hurdles to overcome namely lack of foreign policy experience and race. So why make it harder than it has to be? With Hillary Clinton on the ticket, McCain might as well go home and call it a day!
Game Over!

i don’t understand why you equate obama not releasing his vp choice to grade school. mccain hasn’t released his either, and it is common to wait this long.
also, i don’t think clinton is a good choice. there is some pretty compelling footage of clinton talking trash about obama that the mccain camp would be delighted to use more.
