You wonder why people don’t like…
Have you seen the latest case of police brutality? This incident took place in West Palm Beach, Florida on May, 26 2008. The background story to this video is, the a man before getting arrested robbed a CVS drugstore for Oxycontin which was only worth 80 dollars. The man is then apprehended by a police officer and is laying on the ground handcuffed. This is were things get out of hand. The two police officers in the video then proceed to physical abuse this person. The video speaks for its self. The police is supposed to protect and serve the people not abuse them. The police officers that beat this guy give good upstanding cops a bad name. The excuses the police officers gave to why they beat the guy are not very believable at all. I don’t know if you saw it but I didn’t see the guy spit at the police officer! They should think about how their actions impact other people on the force. This incident is just another example of how some police officers believe that they are above the law. There are far worst cases of excessive force used by police officers, I just wanted to highlight that it happens here in the United States everyday of the week not just in third world countries.
